Cuba just put marriage equality in its new constitution – putting it on the path to becoming the next Latin American country to legalize same-sex marriage! The Cuban legislature approved marriage as being “the consensual union of two people, regardless of gender,” and the change will be put to referendum later this year. Discriminatory cultural attitudes toward sexuality and same-sex marriage hold the world’s population back.
